As a Medical Coder at CorroHealth, you will be responsible for assigning and reviewing ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes to ensure proper documentation and compliance. This role includes thorough chart review, maintaining 97%+ coding accuracy, and working closely with insurance payers for clarifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign Codes: Assign ICD and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Chart Review: Accurately interpret and code clinical data from medical records.
• Compliance: Ensure coding compliance with healthcare regulations and medical guidelines.
• Communication: Follow up with payers for incomplete/unclear documentation.
• Accuracy: Maintain 97%+ accuracy on outpatient and inpatient records.
• Training: Attend skill-enhancement sessions and internal training programs.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Nursing / Pharmacy graduates (UG only, regular mode)
• Certification: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Age Limit: Below 28 years
• Backlogs: No academic backlogs
• Communication: Good English – spoken and written
• Shift: Day shift (9 AM – 6 PM)
